Letzte Woche ging unser Austausch auf Gegenseitigkeit zwischen Schüler*innen aus München und Cincinnati zu Ende. Vom 20.06. bis zum 01.07.2024 haben uns die Schüler*innen aus Cincinnati besucht, und wir haben ein abwechslungsreiches Programm in München organisiert: Besichtigung der Allianzarena, Ausflug zum Chiemsee, City-Tour mit VR-Brille, Besuch der Zugspitze und Alpincoaster-Fahrt, u.a. Die Schüler*innen waren begeistert von unserem Austauschprogramm auf Gegenseitigkeit und haben neue Freundschaften fürs Leben geschlossen. Zum Abschluss gab es ein gemeinsames Abschiedsessen mit den Gastfamilien. Wir sind sicher, dass dieser Austausch für alle Beteiligten eine unvergessliche Erfahrung war.
Wir möchten uns herzlich bei den Gastfamilien in München und Cincinnati bedanken, die unseren Schülerinnen ein Zuhause auf Zeit geboten haben. Besonderer Dank geht an die Munich City Sister Association und die Stadt München für ihre Unterstützung und Förderung dieses Programms, das zur Stärkung der Städtepartnerschaft zwischen Cincinnati und München beigetragen hat. Wir freuen uns bereits auf den nächsten Austausch im kommenden Jahr!
Last week marked the end of our successful student exchange program between Munich and Cincinnati. From June 20th to July 1st, the students from Cincinnati visited us in Munich, and we organized a diverse program for them. We visited the Allianzarena, took a trip to Chiemsee, went on a city tour with VR goggles, visited the Zugspitze, and even rode the Alpincoaster! The students were thrilled with the program, and many new lifelong friendships were formed. We closed the program with a farewell dinner with the host families, and we know that this exchange program will be an unforgettable experience for all involved.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the host families in Munich and Cincinnati who opened their homes to our students and made them feel welcome. We would also like to thank the Munich City Sister Association and the City of Munich for their support and funding of this program, which has contributed to strengthening the partnership between Cincinnati and Munich. We are already looking forward to the next exchange program in the coming year!
